HP6 Spoilers (ha ha ha)

01:01 Friday, Aug. 04, 2006

K, like no one hasn't read it already, and I dunno if I'm gonna spoil anything anyway. (Later: yes I did.)

Firstly, I bite my thumb at all the Draco/Hermione shippers because Ron/Hermione = Win from the beginning. And (ok, here's a spoiler then) Tonks and Lupin is cute. >D I suspected the Sirius thing a bit after the beginning, but when it all was finally out in the open (obviously) it was really cute. And when she was back to normal during the funeral and they were holding hands >D Yeah. Even though that part's supposed to be sad.

Uh, and I really just didn't get why Harry didn't tell Dumbledore about his Potions book. But he was supposedly so preoccupied with Malfoy's doings. Most of the time when coming across where it said Occlumency or Legilimency it all went over my head, too, because keywords just never stick with me through books. Or it's just that I read this a year late.

I must say that JKR's writing got extremely repetitive and boring, whether I just now realized this and it's always been that way (and I was too enchanted by the whole wizarding world thing) or she'd just not put as much effort into her syntax.

Reading the book could be turned into a drinking game where you take a swig every time you read the phrase "had a row," or each time she described Harry's reaction to what someone else had said. (There were other phrases that I can't remember at the moment.) She did that practically everywhere, and explaining the situation out in such a way that is similar to what Jon pointed out about Yu-Gi-Oh. I'm pretty glad that it's over with.

So yeah, basically the book could've been half the length if she just shut up instead of telling us what was already inferred. I might've skipped a lot. It was just to find where I'd stopped when I first started reading, then to read more about the HBP (was it not obvious it belonged to a Death-Eater from the beginning?), and what made me keep reading was the quarrel between Ron and Hermione (I was hoping they'd finally just say it already but still they haven't) and the meetings of Dumbledore with Harry.

Somehow I never remember a damn thing that happens in these books, as I forgot so much that happened in book 5 except what was important. Same'll probably happen with this one. I'll forget wtf Felix Felicis is or whatever, and about uh, I guess Fenrir Greyback maybe. Which reminds me that the Werewolf in Van Helsing was way hotter than how they made Lupin look in the 3rd movie. I guess 'cause they wanted everyone to think werewolves were hideous or something.

I'm curious as to whether the 7th book will be exciting without Hogwarts in the way, but I'm overshooting my imagination with Harry living in the woods and no civilization. Which is what would be more interesting for me. But I'm more curious as to whether I'll even want to pick up the thing, maybe if Kim gets a copy too then my mom can use them as weights.

Yeah, so, nyah, Hermione wants the Weasley. :D I still don't see how people could think otherwise. And meh, Harry and Ginny, for some reason Harry just isn't interesting, except for the darker side of his conscience. The only thing that made me emotional was when Dumbledore went on about Love and I thought about how so many people look at such a philosophy like that as bullshit, and it made me sad. And my mom loves Snape, she's gonna hate him. Oh yeah and in my book Dumbledore died on page 596. Someone needs to bitchslap Snape. lol. He's such a whore. K I will stop ranting randomly now. Fawkes is gone wtf! K done.

Oh yeah, o_O So that depression thing or something, it's probably just my massive amount of insecurity. It surprised even me when I realized it, how insecure I really am. Oh yeah and uh, yaoi, what's that? Interesting, it's been an exact month. Hi, people who I haven't talked to in ages! I bet you hate me. And that really sucks. We should all get together for tea.

And I always intend to write something vague and short but end up rambling on. Anyway, if I don't become depressed that nothing I draw looks decent unless it has fur, and if I get my laptop back to working and can leech wireless, I will look up snazzy reference pictures or something and draw lots of Ron/Hermione pics. I'm hoping to do something rather serious and more realistic (with the actors) but like that'll happen. Oh well. And then I guess eventually I'll get around to reading the giant Narnia book. After I get past the HP fanart phase. And then maybe I'll actually finish that Drizzt trilogy, omgwtf?! :O I have to redo that damn Gryphon set too because that shit was weird and there were like, gay bird lions or something. That shit was weird. k I'm really done now. There's a list of books I need to read/finish reading, but it's on my laptop. Grr. Ron/Hermione FTW :o McLaggen needs a smack too btw 'cause he's a big dickhead. o_O Lol
